Note that the following applies to spring 2016. It will be updated in the fall of 2016 to reflect dates for 2017.

The Spring Select Program is competitive program where teams from Menlo Park play teams from other cities. All players try out and are selected for teams. Menlo Park attempts to field as many teams as possible per age group. Typically there are 2 teams per age group but the number of teams depends on how many coaches we have.  There needs to be at least 2 coaches per team (preferably 3), and the coaches need to be certified for their age group (U10, U12, U14, U16 or U19).

Menlo Park has been offering the Spring Select Program for 8 years and is performing great. Last season in league play Menlo Park teams won 6 medals, and in tournament play teams won 16 medals highlighted by 7 teams winning medals at the end of season Davis World Cup. The season runs from February through end of May. The program consists of league games and tournaments.  All players and families find it to be a very rewarding experience, but it is a significant time commitment and should be a priority in your child’s extra-curricular schedule.

All player applications must be completed online by Friday, Oct 30 5pm- prior to tryouts.

Registration is now closed.

Walk-up/day of applications will NOT be accepted.
